How long have you done CrossFit and what was your reason for joining?
“I started CFPV last May when they opened its doors. My initial reason for starting CF was to lose weight but as I got hooked I realized for a long time my body had felt older than its age. I'm starting mow after 9 months of CF to feel healthy again. My body is actually starting to feel younger than its age. This keeps me coming back day after day!”
What’s your favorite workout (Movement/Lift/Benchmark etc.) and favorite post workout food?
“My favorite workout would have to be the one with running, a little rowing, and push press. A few Burpees are always a good thing too!!! I couldn't even do 1 when I started, so it feels good to be able to complete a WOD with Burpees in it. Favorite post workout food: eggs”
What’s your least favorite workout (Movement/Lift/Benchmark etc.) and favorite cheat meal?
“My least favorite WOD is anything with pull-ups (because I cant do them) and snatches (same reason). Favorite cheat meal is alcohol. Sorry but I like to have a drink on the weekends!
What is your next goal? i.e. doubles, pull ups, weight loss, body fat%, come more etc.
“My next goal is toe to bar and kipping pull ups! I would love to be able to do a real push up also!”
It is with great pleasure that I get to introduce you all to Jessica H.!!! She is one of our original members from the 12 mats, 4 bars, no fan, 20 member box we started almost a year ago AND she is still going STRONG. It has been an amazing transformation we've been blessed to witness and am excited to see where this all takes her. She is always smiling, has a great sense of humor and never cuts corners. I asked her to fill this out in January so I'm sure some of this has changed but without further wait, this is Jess!
