How long have you done CrossFit and what was your reason for joining?
I have been doing CrossFit for over a year now. A little barista named Andrea Fox turned me onto it. I've always worked out whether it was going to the gym, running or doing Insanity videos. I definitely needed to change it up! I loved the intensity of CrossFit and became totally hooked. I like that every day is something different. I love the atmosphere, challenge, and always seeing improvement. I get mad at myself if I haven't made it to class at least five days a week. I'm constantly talking to friends about coming and encourage others to try it.
What’s your favorite workout (Movement/Lift/Benchmark etc.) and favorite post workout food?
My favorite lift is the front/back squat, or possibly any squat. I feel like I do better with my lower body in movements so that's probably why. Oh and the fact that it works the legs and A$$! My favorite post workout food it grilled chicken breast with brown rice (drenched in tapatio)!
What’s your least favorite workout (Movement/Lift/Benchmark etc.) and favorite cheat meal?
My least favorite is strict press. I get really frustrated doing these! Burpees suck really bad, but I actually don't mind doing them anymore. Box jumps.....not a fan! I love Mexican food,so if I cheat it's going to be that, well and chocolate!
What is your next goal? i.e. doubles, pull ups, weight loss, body fat%, come more etc.
My next goal is to get my pull ups, so one day I can do muscle ups (that's going to be a while)! I would like to work on double unders, I cannot consecutively do these or I spend 10 minutes whipping my legs! I want to lose 10 more pounds and decrease body fat. I guess I need to go on another vacation where I have to wear a bikini because that's almost the only thing that motivated me last time.
