How long have you done CrossFit and what was your reason for joining?
Did my first WOD at CFS 3 years ago. I got serious about a year ago when CFPV came to town! I was looking for something new to jump start my fitness regime and CrossFit was the answer!
What’s your favorite workout (Movement/Lift/Benchmark etc.) and favorite post workout food?
I love all the Hero WOD's and the meaning behind them! My favorite movements are snatch's, dead's and clean's! My favorite post workout grub would have to be bacon, eggs and spinach, or just a plain old protein shake!
What’s your least favorite workout (Movement/Lift/Benchmark etc.) and favorite cheat meal?
Oooh, least favorite workout...It's hard just to pick one! Any STOH sucks for me! Strict press, push press, push jerk will make me want to sleep in. I also despise wall balls (thrusters in disguise) and yes thrusters! Burpees do suck, but I have a sadistic love for them! My favorite cheat meal is Cidddici's pizza and an IPA! And I can't give up my Best Foods Mayo!!!
What is your next goal? i.e. doubles, pull ups, weight loss, body fat%, come more etc.
Goals...That is a tough one! Everyone has to have goals, right? Simply, my goals are to Be Healthy, get better with my endurance and expand my mental toughness (find my dark place in those 20 min. amrap's!) Yeah I will eventually get my 400# deadlift, my 100+ unbroken du's and my muscle ups, but what really drives me is my desire to maintain my health, my mind and my spirit! I want to be the best I can be, and I want to inspire and encourage my CrossFit family along the way! 3...2...1...GO!!!
Not sure where to start with this guy... He is epitome of what you want in a CrossFit member. He supports any AND everything we put out there no matter what the cause is. He is active in ALL the events we put in whether it is judging, competing, cleaning up or spectating. He is a person others look up to, encourages the last guy or gal working, stays after and stretches, works to get better, brings his friends and family in for WOD's and ALL kinds of other things. He is a Level 1 and holds a gymnastic cert just to be a better CrossFitter. This is the kind of guy you want in your corner, I've had the pleasure of just having a beer with the guy at lunch and he's class act, funny as hell and extremely personable. If you can't tell I'm kind of crushing on the guy lol.... Sorry! Basically, if you don't know him, introduce yourself if he hasn't already done so, I know the 5 a.m. class will validate all those things I had to say. It's a pleasure coaching you Brian, we love having you at CFPV!!!
